construction Tips on Buying New ConstructionOf course, not all home buyers want to become fixer-upper mavens or even like the idea of moving into a home that has previously been occupied. These buyers prefer to start fresh with new construction and the latest floor plans.

Like buying a new car, there’s something appealing about the smell, fresh paint, and new carpet that you find in a new home. Many buyers feel this is the way to go because they don’t want to redo someone else’s decorating and landscaping. If you’re among them, here’s how to find and buy a new home and avoid the pitfalls.

Shopping New Subdivisions

The first step after you’ve got that loan commitment in hand is to make a list of the new communities in the area. You already know the price range you can afford.
